They ranged from P They also had a number of hats, ranging from P This store had lots of native bracelets the kinds sold in souvenir shops but the first thing that really caught my eye was the assortment of body jewelry they had. These belly rings were only P and looked exactly the same as the ones you can buy in malls for P They also had many, many pendants especially Crucifixes of all shapes and sizes for necklaces and for bracelets. They also had all kinds of locks for making accessories, including: spring locks, toggle locks, labster locks is that supposed to be lobster?
I have no idea , and mosquito locks. All of these locks were less than P per pack. Some were as cheap as P60 for pcs. They also had the widest variety of cords.
Here was a list of prices they had on display:. They also had many rosaries and some ready-to-wear accessories. Most notably, they sold many tools for accessories-making, including glue guns , plain clips by the hundred, specifically for decorating , and even plastic bags for selling accessories in all sizes.
This store is comprised of two stalls that are opposite each other when you enter the building, the trinkets and wigs will be on your right, while the tiaras and ribbons will be on your left. All of the wigs in this picture were only P The main specialty of the store is ribbons. They had all kinds and for good prices. Their other specialty is tiaras, which they sold for P For example, that Monaco thread for bracelet-making, etc. Lastly, it seemed like they had every kind of YKK zipper imaginable:.
This was the only store I encountered on Tabora Street that made customized lanyards. Their minimum order is pcs, but they sell it as cheap as P11 each with a logo button attached. There were many costume stores in this area, but this seemed to be the costume maker. Not only were their prices more affordable, but Ate Ami was super helpful and down-to-earth. During all of the other months of the year, someone can come in, place an order, and pick up their custom-made costumes only 3 days later.
Their giant, custom-made costumes were P7, for the complete set and P2, for the head only:. They also had other ready-made costumes like Scooby-Doo.
Ate Ami told me that they sold these Powerpuff Girl costumes for only P1, since they always had them in stock:. This store is big, airconditioned and organized their employees even have uniforms , and their product line seems quite comprehensive.
