Who is noble six in halo reach

Before Halo: Reach's campaign , Noble 6 was trained as part of the beta company of Spartans but was pulled out of the company before they were wiped out in Operation Torpedo. After their training was complete, they gained an infamous reputation as being a lone-wolf responsible for taking down countless insurrectionist militia groups and organizations by himself. This is why Carter urges him to ditch the lone wolf stuff in Halo: Reach's opening.

The biggest difference between the two is that unlike Spartan IIs, Spartan IIIs were trained for better combat effectiveness in teamwork and tactical skills. Whereas Spartan IIs relied more on equipment and advanced technology.

This also had an affect on their physical appearance since Noble 6 is shorter than another Spartan II, Jorge. Though Spartan B is forever known as Noble 6, they did not always have that title. The original Noble 6 was another Spartan by the name of Thom-A Thom-A may at first seem like a random character but he was actually the main focus of the Deliver Hope trailer which was set before the events of Reach.

In the trailer, Thom is shown sacrificing himself destroying a Covenant battle cruiser during their invasion of the planet Fumirole. This meant that B had some big shoes to fill. Who said that math is not needed after school is done? To further emphasize Noble 6 with the number six. This has to do with their designation number of If someone were to add the numbers three, one and two in 6's name, then they would realize that those numbers would add up to six.

Math sure does work in mysterious ways. One thing fans will notice is that 6 is absent from a lot of promotional material for the game, most notably the game's cover. As a Lieutenant Noble 6 outranks Master Chief, and could theoretically be placed as his commanding officer. Being an officer provides Noble 6 with more human resources at his fingertips and the ability to give direction and lead.

While Master Chief does posses the informal respect and reputation of UNSC soldiers, Noble 6 as an officer has an official capacity to lead and direct them. The principal difference in these two lines is design philosophy, while II's were made to act as small, human tanks, Spartan-III's were made to be cost effective and expendable.

Master Chief as a II series has been enhanced to a higher genetic level, and had his bone and muscle structure changed to be physically larger, stronger, and faster. The Halo series has put it's protagonists through some of the most difficult fights in video game history. As such, both Master Chief, and Noble 6 can be considered to be persistent. Noble 6, however, slightly edges out Master Chief regarding this one. In the dying hours of Halo: Reach , Noble 6 fought back countless Elites while gravely injured, never giving up, even when defeat and death, were clearly and undeniably on the horizon.

In terms of weapons, both Master Chief and Noble 6 carried fleshed out and extremely effective arsenals. Master Chief does however get a chance to use more weapons then Noble 6, and has used virtually every lethal weapon available in the fight for humanity. Noble Six only had the chance to wear Mark V. The Mark VI being a later model obviously provides the wearer with more mobility and defense, giving them a large advantage. While Master Chief may be ahead genetically, all Spartans receive equally rigorous and detailed training on a wide range of combat areas.

Each Spartan is a skilled sniper, close quarters combatant, explosives expert, and pilot. Despite some recognition for his team's achievements, B's existence was apparently kept classified from the public by ONI.

Noble Six had a tendency to "go solo" during missions, much to the dismay of his superiors. Although Six became fairly close to the other members of NOBLE Team, he shared a great deal of camaraderie with Jorge, and the two soon became friends. This inspired Jorge to give his life in Noble Six's place, and may have, among Noble's other sacrifices, inspired Six to do the same when allowing the Autumn to escape. Six's bond with Jorge is noted by the fact that Jorge gave Six his dog tags before sacrificing himself and Emile later refused them when Six offered up the dog tags, telling Six that Jorge chose to give them to Six so Six should keep them.

Halsey and Cortana considered him to be of equal ability and trustworthiness to the Master Chief himself, despite the doctor's initial distaste for the Spartan-IIIs. Although this request was granted, whether he received the helmet before his death is unclear.

To integrate player relation with the character, the player can choose whether Noble Six is male or female: the Spartan's male and female incarnations are voiced by Philip Anthony-Rodriguez and Amanda Philipson , respectively. Players can customize Noble Six's armor using a vast selection of armor permutations including a robotic arm , colors, and emblems; the player's chosen character model is used in the campaign, multiplayer, and Firefight , allowing players to better integrate themselves with the character.

As it became apparent that Noble Six's appearance and gender would be entirely customizable, the Spartan's armor was changed to fully default armor in most promotional material afterwards. In addition, the Spartan's emblem is customized as the first emblem with the first background on their respective lists in the Armory: steel-colored Seventh Column with no background. This is done to avoid portraying Noble Six as a character outside the player's control, as Noble Six's appearance depends on the player's armor customization and gender choice.

The only exceptions to this are when a screenshot was released to prove that cutscenes would display player customization, and in various concept art wallpapers, where Noble Six is shown with a plethora of armor combinations.

However, the Noble Six action figure was not redesigned with fully default armor. This is likely in part to prevent confusion by allowing the player character to appear nearly identical to NPC teammates in the campaign. Noble Six engaging a file of Unggoy. Given the wording in Six's file, however, it is somewhat questionable whether "hyper-lethal" is a legitimate "rating" at all, or merely a descriptive phrase used by Colonel Holland. The information sheet for Spartans in Halo: Ground Command suggests the latter, mentioning that "each Spartan is a hyper-lethal special forces operative".

In this light, assuming every Spartan is indeed regarded as "hyper-lethal", Halsey's remark in the A Spartan Will Rise vidoc could even be interpreted as sarcasm. Alpha Company. Beta Company.
